Is it possible to write a code that would open a
particular website from Microsoft Access (using internet
explorer, or possibly another way that I haven't thought
of)? If it is, will someone please point me in the right

Simplest way is to use ShellExecute API.

Application.FollowHyperlink seems simple enough.
