Is MS Publisher the new Front Page?

Hello,Personal Web Page File Manager

I'm trying to publish a blog created with Google blogger through my ISP.
They claim there are 3 ways to publish my Personal Web Space to the
internet.
a.. Publish using Microsoft Front Page
b.. Upload files using Personal Web Page File Manager
c.. Transfer files using File Transfer Protocol (FTP) by FTP Software or
Internet Explorer.
I'm not familiar with Publisher - does it replace Front Page? It's part of
the 2007 suite - should I wait for the next update before purchasing? Thanks

MS Publisher is not a web design program, and is not a replacement for
FrontPage.

You can continue to use FrontPage or purchase its replacement, Expression
Web.

BTW, this is an Outlook newsgroup, and your query has nothing to do with
Outlook.

No, publisher is not the new front page - sharepoint designer or expressions
web is and upgrade of front page. Publisher is for making printed flyers and
things like that, not web design.
