is my EDB tourqed? Help please

Scenario - Veritas backup server crashes just as user looses contacts and
tasks in her outlook. Rebuild outlook profile was no help. Rebuild veritas
on newer veriosn OS (2k3 and ver 10 veritas) I catalog old tapes and since we
are not doing bricks level backups I redirect priv.edb to alternate location
to work on. 3rd party ultis used to extrack data from edb file only show
10-20 mailbox and we have many more than that. Question - Is there a way of
getting mailbox data out of this edb file? The file is 27Gb so I feel it has
a good amount of data there. Could I use exmerge to pull sokething form it
if I have system manager and exnerge on my machine? If the EDB file is
somehow corrupt can eseutil be used to correct of fix it? Any help would be
grately appreciated. TIA
