I bought a pc online and it came with office xp prof
installed , I have no clue what the key is , and the
machine didn't come with any cd for office , its an older
pc , from a pc builder who don't answer emails. How do I
know if this is a legal install and if I do the service
pak upgrade what will happen , if this guy used the same
cd and key for the last 100 machines , will my office
croak after installing a service pak? The xp windows in
it I installed over the ME that was in here and my Xp
home edition is fine and activated, I just have alot to
loose , can somone offer suggeations or experience about
whether or not my office could croak after the udate?

A product only counts legal if the whole disc set and other stuff is
transferred to. (per EULA)
