IS MY PRODUCT KEY (OFFICE XP) IN AN INSTALLATION FILE?

Office XP Pro came preinstalled on my pc but i don't have the product key.
HELP!
Here are the details;

ProductName=Microsoft Office XP Professional
ProductVersion=10.0.2627.01
Version=10.0

There should be 2 stickers on the casing of your computer - one for Windows
and one for Office....

hi JoAnn, thanks! i tried that even before my original post after I saw your
response (ironically!) to another enquiry. i'm seeing the key for win xp
under Software Licenses but office xp is under Software Versions but no cd
key....help!

When you say you no longer have the original case, do you mean you have a
different PC and you want to install your original Office OEM license on it?
Or did you put your original motherboard/drives in a new case?

If Office came preinstalled on the PC, Belarc will show the PC
manufacturers volume key which will not work for individuals. The real
key should also be in the paperwork that came with the PC. If not,
you'll need to contact the PC manufacturer.

The key might be pasted on something that came with your computer, with
some computers the Office CD key sticker is on the Microsoft Works CD
cover, who knows why? Go through everything that came with the
computer, see if it turns up.
