is OEM upgradable?

A friend of mine told me the OEM version of Office professional 2003 will not be upgradable with future versions of Office. Is this true

Only MSFT, or Dr.Who, can answer that.

In general, MSFT would be foolish to have such a restriction as they wish
to sell software.

But, make sure it is a legit OEM version.

I believe that only applies to the Office Basic version that only comes with
OEM installations.
