When I check for downloads it is recommended to download Office XP SP3 . I am
using Office Student and Teacher 2003. Download time is 3 hours . Is download
really necessary or is there any other way?

Check Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. If you have any of the Office XP
family of applications still installed {such as Publisher 2002, FrontPage
2002 etc} then you should {IMO} installed the Office XP update which
included updates for these applications.

If you live in North America you can order the updates on CD from:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/FX010383631033.aspx

The update CD is free {may be a S& H charge}.

Hi Don,

I have a question concerning a similar issue - please read this thread from
the Clip Art News Group. I do have Windows XP sp2 Home. Could you answer
the second question with regard to the Clip Manager query?

Thankyou in advance.

"You are probably having a Windows issue rather than an Office issue. Do you
have
Windows Home?
I don't know much about the Student/Teacher edition, could be some of the
features
are not available that are available in the standard Office suite."
