when sending ie pages to my notebook java applets do not appear

I'm not surprised. OneNote is really more of a capture program for web
pages; not a platform to run apps. Follow the created link back to the
actual webpage in IE if you want to use the Java.

Ben,

I'd have to disagree. :)

Our customers for our OneNote EMRToolkit and OneNote eScript Toolkit, find
it to be an excellent platform for applications.

OneNote's navigation, document storage, intercommunications capability make
it a compelling platform. Perhaps, one that hasn't been targeted for this
type of development in the past, but we're changing that. :)

Thanks, what about the images?. In this case I was sending a completed
crossword puzzle (a java applet) image to onenote. I expected to copy this
over nicely to my valuable notebook.

A java image is a little tricky - it's not really an image unless you do a
screen capture of it. Otherwise it's just an app with data in it. Do a
screen clipping and you should get a nice image of it for OneNote.
