Is Outlook 2003 autoresolution going to be any different?

In a large firm with 800 users newly on Outlook 2002, the
global address list is by last name and is stored in
cache by last name. The Contacts list whether sorted by
last name or by first name still appears in the Display
AS field by First name and subsequently is stored in
cache by FIRST name. This is driving the user's crazy. Is
there any way to globally change the Display As field so
it enters Last name first? Are there any plans to change
the way the cache works in Outlook 2003? This is a great
problem. I've read all the threads in this section and
the question is always sidestepped by telling people to
change the sort order of the Addressbook. That only
changes the way the names are displayed when the person
clicks the TO button. Doesn't change the way the cache
stores the name?
