We use the program "ACT!" in our office for sales activity on all our
accounts. The email program in ACT! mirrors our Microsoft Outlook email
inbox in order for us to be able to direct the inbox email recvd to it's
proper account file in the ACT! system.
This program worked fine before we installed Microsoft Office 2003. What
occurs now when accessing our emails via the ACT! program we receive a
warning msg as follows: (not sure where the msg originates)
"A program is trying to access your Address Book or Contacts. Viruses can
be
spread by sending copies of e-mail msgs to people listed in your Address
Book.
You must allow or deny access to your Address Book before this prgrm can
continue....__ allow access ___deny access"
then its asks you to ck the box for 1 min, 2 min....up to 10 min max if you
allow access. What a pain!! this box will pop up after each 10 min session
is up and you must re-access it or it will not allow us to work our emails,
as we have in the
past with no interruption, through the ACT! system. HELP!?!?!
