Is Project Server 2007 compatible with SharePoint 2.0/2003?

We have an existing, large implementation of SharePoint 2003/2.0, for
which are are planning an upgrade to 2007 soon, but not before we need
to implement Project Server 2007. Is Project 2007 compatible with
SharePoint 2.0 when it comes to creating/synchronizing project web
sites? Thanks.
