Is text flow from page to page possible?

Hi,
Is it possible to get ON to flow text to another page in the same tab,
rather than simply continuing down past the white page and into the gray
backrground area where it becomes difficult to read? If not possible, can
the gray background area's color be changed? Thanks.

Go to File | Page Setup and set the Paper Size to Auto. That will create
an "endless" piece of paper which can grow as your content grows.

Thank you, Eric. Of course you are correct. Still, that longer "page" is
cumbersome to work with, and has a few other drawbacks as far as printing
notes is concerned. Is it correct then, that there actually is no way to
simply keep a fixed page size, but to have text flow to another, similarly
sized page (or subpage) when the text container exceeds the fixed page size
(kind of like text can flow from text box to text box in Publisher). Thanks
again for your time.

I agree, I'd love to see an option where the pages could roll out onto
subpages, particularly when printing into OneNote.

But no, it doesn't do that now.

I for one would rather want to see optional visible pagebreaks instead.
IMO a "text flow" would be too far away from the basic concept of
"endless" pages.
particularly when printing into OneNote.

The problem with things printed to ON IMO is solved (as an interim
solution) with the "Printout
Manger" PowerToy. It would be almist perfect could this be integrated
into the prinring dialog.

Yes this is correct.

Sorry, but those are the current options.

I don't fully disagree myself.

It's an unfortunate side effect of using a paper notebook metaphor in the
design of OneNote. Some of the terms (in this case, "page") which have one
intended meaning in the UI and in the hierarchy of how ON organizes data
have a different meaning when referring to printed output.

I find it helpful to never think of a OneNote Page as a printed page. I
keep notes or data related to one topic/meeting/whatever on a single Page.
That Page will have nothing to do with how the data will appear when
printed.
