Is the trial version the full version ... or are bits held back?

When I convert a Word doc (on a trial version of Office 2007) into a pdf, the
links are appearing broken in half. The clickable bit works ... in other
words, if you click on it, it takes you to the right place. But the
descriptor is only half displayed.

For instance, if I turn the words 'National Union of Students' into
hyperlinked text going to the NUS website, it would go there, but only the
words 'Union of Students' would appear.

I have spoken at length to Adobe Acrobat 9 help people, and they are
convinced that this is happening because I'm using the trial version of
Office 2007, and that the trial version has bits missing ... therefore, they
say, my Adobe Acrobat 9 is not 'talking properly' to my Word.

So this is why I'm asking the question ... I have another month to go on my
trial and so don't want to download the full version if it still won't help
my problem.

Be grateful for any help!#

Thanks!

The trial version is the full version but quite possibly without any
relevant updates or service packs applied. I don't know whether that would
make any difference, however. Have you used Edit Hyperlinks to check and
make sure that the display text is correct? Or are you saying it's correct
in the doc but breaks when converted to PDF?

Thank you, Suzanne. I have now found the answer to my problem and it was
nothing to do with Word. It was because I didn't have my styles boxes clicked
on the Acrobat bit.

But thanks for replying anyway!
