Is there a free upgrade I can download?

I am student and my computer totally crashed, so I had to start over!!! I
currently have Office 97, Word, Excel and Publisher. Is there a free upgrade
to Office 2000 or 2003 that can download?

Of course there is NOT a free upgrade to Office 2000/2003.. you have to buy
it..

You could try the Open Source OpenOffice (www.openoffice.org). It is
free and has good compatibility with MS Office.
