is there a good way to Send Later in Entourage 2008?

I always used the "Send Later" option in Entourage 2004. I liked putting the emails into the outbox and have them sit for a little while before they went out. Then I could modify them if I wanted to. I think it saved me some embarrassment from time to time. I just upgraded to 2008, and there seems to be no "send later" feature and no mention of it in help files. Does anyone know a workaround? The only one i can think of is to disconnect the computer from the internet. Then when i hit Send, the messages will go to the outbox, but I get an annoying error message about my Mac OS Network Preferences not being configured to allow automatic connections. If nothing else, i'd like to turn off this message, so maybe someone has an idea there. The best would be to find a direct way to put a message into the outbox when I'm finished writing, and not have it sent immediately. Thanks!

A lot depends on your schedules. If you have your schedule connect every 10
min. for example, this doesn't give you much time to have second thoughts.

There is a Send Later button (sends at next schedule) in Entourage 2008. Use
the Customize toolbar to add this option. (Under View in the Menu bar )

If you save as Draft, this is the safest option. It will not send until you
click on send.

Another option would be to uncheck schedules to send and do this manually.

You can find an AppleScript that will do this perfectly here:

<http://scriptbuilders.net/files/postponedelayedsend1.95.html>

It will allow you to specify a time interval, or set the exact time and
date for the delayed send. It will also let you "postpone" incoming
mail, causing it to be side-lined and then re-inserted into your Inbox
at a specified time or date.

I've been using this with Entourage for five years, and it continues to
work with the latest version.
