Is there a non-exchange option for a (very) small business?

I'm on a team of 7 people spread out across the US and Canada. Three
of us are Mac users (Entourage) and the others use PCs (Outlook).
Exchange is out of our league. Outlook has multiple group calendar
options that are cheaper and better suited to a small business. What
options are there for my team? Thanks for your help!

I believe they have versions of Exchange for smaller companies.
Otherwise, you could use iCal with a shared Google Calendar. It's free.

It's a *shame* that Entourage doesn't support CalDAV. Without it there
is no integration possible into Entourage.

Companies like Sherweb http://www.sherweb.com/hosted-exchange
Offer hosted MS Exchange 2007 accounts for as little as $8.95 per month, so
for around $62 per month you could all be on Exchange. I have used Sherweb
for approximately a year and never had a problem and use it on both my Mac
and PC's.
