Is there a quantity limit of pieces that can be Mail Merged & Prin

Using MS Word Mail Merge, is there a quantity limit of pieces that can be
Mail Merged & Printed AT ONE TIME ?? I have experienced being able to merge
5000 names but when I started to print them, it would die or just hang up. I
would like to merge 30,000 at one time. Anyone have knowledge of this
situation and can share?
