Is there a Spellcheck with MS Office Document Imaging?

I am using MS OFfice Dcument Imaging tool that comes with Office 2003. I
wonder if the tool has a spell check tied to it such that some of the words
are converted to somethin in the dictionary when the OCR conversion cannot
make out the word. If so, I want to delete some of the words in the
dictionary and add other words so that the OCR tool might improve in accuracy
for the types of documents I scan.

Hi Flo,

The OCR functions of MS Office Document Imaging 2003 rely on the spell/grammar tools from Word installed on the PC only to attempt
to recognize characters. You'd basically need to do any cleanup, correction, deletion after the conversion.
