Is there a template for manuscripts

New User to 2007, I have done all formatting in 2002. Need help in setting up
new Chapter Headings. Body text, Capitization on first 5 words in paragraph,
inserting symbol between paragraphs. Currently using Garmond Font. Am open
to suggestions. Thanks
