is there a way to display characters verticaly

Is there a way to show text on a form or report vertically instead of
horizontal. I can make it vertical but the letters are one on top of the
other. I am looking for vertically letter side by side

In Design View, Select the textbox or label then on the property sheet go to
the Other tab and select Vertical and change the No to Yes.

That simple huh.... you know i spent most of my sunday trying to figure this
out. and it comes down to one simple proprety setting. ok thanks for the help
it works just as you said.

Additional question... I recognize the vertical property. When I set it to
yes, it turns my label or textbox vertical but the letters disappear, not
viewable in print or view modes. Is there another setting that I am missing?
Any help would be appreciated.
