Is there a way to enlarge the tiny fonts used by default in the Calender view?

I cant make the calendar fonts any larger. Also, is there a way to
change my settings so can quickly enter an appointment without having
to open a new window, save it, then delete the appointment window ?
Last; in calender view can I show my tasks alongside the calender
somehow? I have the student version; is that without some features of
the full version? I used Outlook for years and I think it blows away
Entourage.......
