Is there a way to find out if an image file is being used in FP 2003?

Hi,

Is there a way I could quickly find out if images are used in any pages in
FP 2003?

The purpose is to do a "house cleaning" of the site by removing and
re-organizing image files, but don't want to result in "x" of the images are
linked in some pages.

Many thanks in advance.

Open the web and click Hyperlinks view. Click on each image in turn
and see what it is linked to.
Alternatively, go to View->Reports->Problems->Unlinked Files which
will show all files that are not linked to from any page linked to the
Home page. Look for image files with "Links To" column showing 0.
Note, using both methods, that images that are linked by any form of
script (CSS reference, JavaScript, server-side scripting) may not show
any links.

Search for the image file name in html code all pages in Find & Replace

Hi,

Thanks for your kind input and I will try the second method as suggested.

I did try the first one briefly, as it took so much time for each image. I
am not surprised as it may go through the entire site :(

Many thanks.

Hi,

Thanks and I will try using Search as well (as never came to my mind). Hope
it won't take too long as I am remote administering the site :(

Many thanks.
