Is there a way to force the update of all calcualted fields in a word document?

I have a document that has in excess of 60 tables that are sequentially
numbered using the SEQ Table field code.

I have had to add a number of tables early in the document and find the
sequence identifiers are not all updating.

I have to go to each one and tell it to update. I also have a table of
content that I would like to update. That can be done easily enough since
there is only one Table of contents, I was wondering if there was a way to
force all the updateable fields to update, so I don't have to look at
inidividual items.

Henry,

CTRL+a to select all and then F9

shift to print preview and back should also work if
Print>Options>Print Options>Update fields is checked.

Ctrl-A, F9 will do it if the fields are in the body of the document; but
this will miss fields in headers, footers, footnotes, etc. There's a simple
macro you can create if you need to update fields wherever their location.
Post again if you need it.
