Hello,

My office is experiencing an issue with fonts not being available in Word 2008, even when the font is installed. In the most recent instance, a Word 2004 doc with Times New Roman,Geeza Pro and Kanji fonts. When opened only the English Times New Roman is rendered correctly. The other two fonts are replaced by the Word Default font and render squares only. When I highlight some of the affected test and try to manually enter or select the font name from the drop down, no such luck.

Please help,
-Dave

It may simply be a corrupt font cache. Locate & delete this file whilw no
Office apps are running, then launch Word & see if things improve (it may
take a moment longer to launch since it will rebuild the cache.)

~/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/Office 2008/Office Font Cache (12)
