When I create a task it asks me to fill in my project name for each task.
Right now I’ve been leaving it blank and then dragging it to the existing
project group which will automatically assign a project. I would like to do
this when I create the task with a dropdown list. Is this possible?

Where exactly does it ask you to fill in a Project name? What field are you
talking about, what version of Outlook too?

Is this a question about MS Project or Outlook?

It looks like that was a custom field that I added a while back in Outlook.
Is there a way to make a custom field have a predefined set of values?
