Is there a way to hide subpage tabs untill you select the page?

The list on the right side of my page is too long. If I could hide the
subpage tabs untill I select a page then have only those subpages unhidden
this would solve my problem.

No there isn't, unfortunately. It's a great idea though - one i requested
some time ago.

I noticed this discussion question's date is old. Just to keep the posting
current, I would like to see this feature as well. Maybe in a future upgrade?
My tabs are too long down the page also. If we could hide them temporarily,
that would be great.

i too would like to add a request for this feature. being able to see
(potentially) all of one's extant sections and then being able to select them
looks like a wonderful forthcoming addition in onenote12 (not to mention the
ability to organize in multiple notebooks).

the capacity to go from the general to the specific within multiple
individual pages/sub-pages and then collapse them when not needed would be
even better.

This feature would also be high on my list. The large number of sub pages
make this program less appealing. I would suggest it is absolutely
necessary!!

It is amazing that this feature is not included! After all, it is the whole
premise behind the Windows Folders feature. Allows you to "hide" numerous
"files" (subpages) behind one main "folder" (main page), until you need to do
something with them. Otherwise, the list down the right side is unwieldy and
overwhelming. Please do this. Thanks.

It's a popular feature request but won't be seen until the next major
release of OneNote (if then) and that hasn't been announced yet.

To be clear - I'm not saying that it WILL be in the next version. I'm just
saying that's the soonest it likely would be. The OneNote team is aware of
the popularity of this feature request so I'm sure it's getting due
consideration.
