Is there a way to highlight words of importance with color in Outl

When composing an email in Outlook 2003, is there a way to select a word or a
phrase and then make it look like it has been highlighted rather than just
changing the font color?

I think this is only possible if you're using Word as the E-mail editor
(Tools | Options -> Mail Format).
