Is there a way to look up the Definition of a word, within word?

I am looking for help finding this feature in my version of word.

I was using my friend's mac the other day, and I noticed in his MS Word
program, when you "right click" or ctrl+click (it gives you the drop down
menu), and there was "definition" or "look up" (i can't remember what it was
called), above the "synonyms" submenu.

You could look up the word in a panel on the right of the screen, which
looked online for definitions and such.

My friend was running the newest mac os and I believe had word 03 for mac
(or the latest edition).

Is that available in word 03 or 07 in a plugin? I have both word 03 and 07
beta, and I would love that handy feature.

Thanks again,

Brock Jackson

Hi Brock,

The nearest Word gives is the Thesaurus. To use it, select the word then
choose Tools|Language|Thesaurus, and Word will display various meanings and
their synonyms.

Hi Brock,

If you're using Word 2003 you can use the Research Pane (Tools=>Research or Alt+Click) to find the definition of a selected Word in
your document if you're online. It includes access to the MS Encarta dictionaries.

In Word 2007 Research is on the Proofing Group in the Review tab.
