Is there a way to restore emails from an ost file?

I need to open emails in outlook that are stored in an ost file. The original
exchange server no longer exists and I don't have one available. Is there a
way to recover these emails? Help!!!

Do you still have the profile? Start up offline, create a pst and move the
messages into it.

If you don't still have the profile, take a look for ost2pst and hope it
works. I'd back up the ost before doing anything to it, of course.
