Is there a way to send a web page to Entourage?

When I try to mail contents of this [web]page (under File menu) I get a message that "Safari couldn't create an email message because Microsoft Entourage doesn't support sending webpages from Safari".

So what's that all about? Is there a conspiracy here or restraint of trade? Hasn't someone invented a script or something so this can happen? I'm on the cusp of convincing a couple of longtime Windows users to switch to Mac OS but I know both extensively use the feature -- of sending the web page in the body of an email -- in their current setup and will miss it severely if it can't be done on a Mac. Anyone else have another solution?

Hi,

this Safari feature only works in combination with Mail, i.e. Mail needs to
be defined as your default e-mail client for this to work. If Entourage is
set as the default client, you can choose the following workaround:

* save the page as HTML
* run the script "Send Complex HTML X", which you can find here:

<http://scriptbuilders.net/files/sendcomplexhtmlx2.1.html>

Note that sending entire web pages is considered bad practice by some
people; you'd be better off just sending the link, as you never know how
your recipients may be accessing their e-mails. If you send them a web page
inside the e-mail body and they're on a slow connection or accessing the
internet through a mobile device, they may not be too pleased.

I agree with Michel. I often send links to others of a page. I don't
like sending the entire page for a couple of reasons and my main
reason is that it uses a lot of space/data. Your Entourage DB would
grow quite strikingly if you sent many full pages. Mac mail is a bit
different in the way it stores its email but still you're storing a
lot that is probably not necessary.
