Is there a way to suppress the dock bounce?

E'rage dock icon is bouncing when a mail connection fails. I don't want it
to. Is there any way to turn this off? (Note: animate icon is already
turned off in mail notifications.)

I'm with you on this one (REALLY!!!), unfortunately there is no way to do
that right now. I'd suggest you use the "send feedback" link in he help menu
in Entourage to let the MacBU know you HATE that (I do anyway :->>> ).

No, you can't suppress it in the case of mail errors. You could use another
application like Dock Detox <http://www.unsanity.com/haxies/dockdetox> to
suppress them totally in all applications, but Entourage doesn't have an
individual setting for this.

I think that it would be a good idea to send this suggestion to Microsoft as
feedback. In Entourage X or 2004, go to Help -> Send Feedback on Entourage.
Otherwise, click on this direct link to enter Mac Product Feedback:

Go to the Apple in the left hand corner of your screen, click on it
and go to dock, turn the magnification off. That should do it.

Unfortunately it has nothing to do with dock magnification. It will bounce
in the Dock when there's a mail error whether magnification is on or not.
