Is there an add on electronic pen that integrates with onenote?

Instead of using a tablet PC I want to use the flexibility of a paper notepad
but I want to be able to then transfer the notes into OneNote or any other
office application so I can then convert to electronic design notes, minutes
of meeting etc.

At the momnet as far as I'm concerned most tablets just are flexible enough,
battery life isn't up to it and the form factor is all wrong, slates get
close to it, but again you have to wait for Vista to boot up Onenote to
startup and then be worried about battery life during a long meeting or long
period of airplane travel. Also cost is prohibative. Oh in some places due
to security requirement I can't take a computer

I'm hoping that there is a smart pen type solution that will enable me to
continue to us paper but that will, say through USB connection replay my
notes to onenote or any of the office applications

I've been holding out to see if the EPOS pen ever comes out and ends up being
a decent product. It looks good in concept, because it doesn't require any
special paper (others seem to require that you buy their notepads to work).

Logitech has one, it requires the special paper, but at least it has been
out on the market for a while. I haven't used either.

The digital pens would save the order of your penstrokes, allowing you to
have the software to convert your writing to text. They seem to be able to
keep lots of pages of writing in memory.

Good luck, I'd be curious if you buy something and like it.

You might look into Adapx' Capturx system. I tested it late last year and
really liked it.There is a review on my old blog and a tutorial on OnPPT.
GottaBeMobile wrote a very informative review as well. It is a combo
notebook and pen system and you can send the output straight to OneNote from
the pen.
