Is there an alternative to grayscale, like redscale or x-scale?

I'd like to change all my coloured pictures in my word document not to shades
of gray, but shades of a colour of my choosing. Is this possible?

What version of Word do you have? If this is Word 2007, right-click the
picture, choose Format Picture - Picture tab, and click Recolor.
