I would have expected a one-step cross- or dot-product function in
Excel, since most other simple matrix algebra functions are
represented, but I can't seem to find one. Because laziness is the
step-mother of invention, I thought I'd ask around if anyone knows
where I can find this function before I attempted to write one.
This is highly annoying, since I know of at least four or five standard
engineering uses for cross and dot products and I will be performing
most of them on a regular basis over the next few years.
