is there an object list in PP2003

Hello out there

just started using 2003 after 2000

in PP2000 in the Custom Animation dialog there was a list of Ojects to
Animate, this was a list of all the ojects on a page and you checked off
the ones that had to be animated. It was handy for finding and selecting
buried or hidden objects. I cannot find anything of the type in 2003, is
there one?

Marko,
No there isn't. The old interface has been done away with unless you wish to
turn it back on. By turning it back on, you will not have to ability to
assign any PPT 2003 animations. Effectively you revert it back to PPT 2000.
In case you are curious:
1. Select Tools | Options | Edit tab.
2. Tick 'New animation effects' under the heading 'Disable new features'.
3. Click on OK.

You can also add the "Select Multiple Objects" drawing tool to your Drawing
toolbar (using the Tools -> Customize dialog) to make it easier to select
hidden objects on the slide.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint make it easier to select hidden objects (without resorting to
VBA or add-ins), don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS,
please) to Microsoft by either:

A) If you are using Microsoft's web-based, online newsreader for Office

click on the "New" drop-down menu and choose "Suggestion for Microsoft"

please give me more detail: I have the drawing toolbar but can't tell
which icon to try, in customize I can't figure out which mmight have that?

I this case I could never "select" the hidden object: they are all the
same colour so the screen is practically ALL that colour as it is,
that's why I started looking for the list
