is there an office tool bar in version 2007?

in previous versions of office there has been a short cut yool bar at the top
of the screen to enable quick launch of word etc. I can't find it in 2007.
Do you know where it is?

Gone. Wasn't in Office 2003, either. You're supposed to use the
Windows Quick Launch bar instead -- right-click the task bar and click
Toolbars > Quick Launch, then drag the icons of various applications
and/or documents to the area just to the right of the Start button.
You can also create new toolbars from a choice in the right-click
menu.
