The actual answer to your original question is "Any day now." Microsoft is
working on converters to enable Mac Word 2004 to read and write the XML
format .docx.
There is a statement to this effect on the Microsoft site. I suggest that
you go there and bookmark the statement, because that's where the
announcement that the converters are ready for download will appear
They had to wait for PC Office to "ship" their product so they could be sure
that the PC side would not change the format any further. Now that has
happened, the Mac version can be produced.
By the way, I am "glad" you are a "freshman" here, because many of the rest
of us will die of old age any day now
We need you to hang around and
take over as our replacements
Cheers
Haha, sorry, I'm totally a freshman here, and that stupid question is my very
first one.
Anyway thanks for your patience replying. I think ".docx" must can be opened
in my MacBook, 'cause judged from my experience, ".docx" must equals ".doc" +
Mac OS "x". Microsoft is always so genius in naming software.
You know there was a unsuccessful TV attached set named "Venus Project"?
Bill Gates wished that stupid thing could dig money from people's pocket.
And Longhorn? They immediately rename it after realizing that Tiger eats Cows.
"Wow!" You can judge from this slogan why things before Vista is so dull.
And those wow people must know nothing about Mac OS "x" ...
Cheers.
