Is there any way to save a document with a split view?

Is there any way to save a document with a split view in MS word 2003? As in
page 1 on left and page 2 on right. I know you can go to view>reading layout
to view it that way but I wanted to save it in a split screen format.

No, unlike Excel, you cannot split the window and save that setting in Word.
What you can do is change the zoom so that you can see two pages side by side
(but you may already have tried that).
