Is there any way to use autoexpand with a list box?

I have a query that is created by Access code and
it is hard to search without autoexpand.

The query shows up in a list box on a form.

What would be the easiest way to make this
list box more searchable?

What if I just changed it to a combo box? What
would be downside?

A Combo Box is a simple and easy replacement for a List Box. I see very few
complaints about a difference in performance between them. And, AFAIK,
performance would be the only "issue". In fact, the Combo Box will save you
some "screen real estate", as well as providing AutoExpand.

Using a Subform in lieu of a List Box is not just a simple "delete one and
drop in the other", but is certainly an option.
