Is there Eraser ?

hello everybody

I am relatively new to Visio. I want to edit the figure in
visio that is imported from other sources. So i need some
sort of Eraser tool. But i could not find it in Visio 2002
Pro. Is there realy Eraser tool not in Visio? If not, what
is work around for it?

If it's a bitmap type object, like .bmp, .jpg, .gif, then you need some sort
of image editor to change it.

You can also do some cropping using the tools on the Picture toolbar.

If the shape is a vector format, then you can try Ungrouping it and deleting
some of the lines, or editing them with the pencil tool, or chopping them up
with Shape > Operations > Fragment.

Or you could just draw a white shape, give it No Line style and cover the
parts you want to erase.

Thanks for help.
Infact, it is figure from pdf file and i want to erase
some part of figure and add some shape to it using visio.
