Is there no way to return Word 2007 to the XP layout

With Word 2007 I'm just falling so far behind in my work because I find
nothing is intuitive and questions in help don't return relevant answers.
I'm always having to Google to find answers.

Is there any way to set Word 2007 to the classic XP interface?

In the meantime help in adding words to a dictionary would be appreciated?
