Is this a compatibility problem with InfoPath 2007?

Hi
I am using Office Ultimate 2007 on my main computer and accessing
folders/files created in Office 2003

When I try to open an InfoPath file from Office 07 it says file cannot be
opened as it is looking for a template.xns

I thought that Office 2007 was backward compatible i.e. to files created in
Office 2003

Any suggestions welcome

Hello

Open the Infopath template in design mode and save the xsn it to be
compatible to 2003. Now try to open the Infopath forms from 2003

I am not at t6he office just now to try the changes you suggest, but I was
going to add the following line that appears when I try to open a InfoPath
file that was created with Office 2003

“Following form template cannot be found†-
C:\Document...............Settings.........Formv2.xsn

(Dots replace name of path for item)

Following your item for making the changes, would you be kind enough to
provide a step guide to accomplishing the changes to InfoPath, so I can open
up all the saved 2003 InfoPath docs

I phoned the office, but they could not see how to proceed after openig up
the Infopath template (Start > Programs > Infopath etc)
