Is this feature just wishful thinking

I use auto text a lot to type a few letters and get whole words, phrases and
the like quickly inserted.

The feature I would really like, whether in Word or a piece of separate
software, is one where the words, phrases, etc are listed on the screen and
if I click on them, or hold control and click multiple choices they appear
where the cursor is flashing.

Anything out there or any ideas?
