Is this possible to use the database (e.g.MSSQL server) to act as address
book provider?
Is this possible to use the database (e.g.MSSQL server) to store the
appointment information?
Can I capture the add appointment event ?
It is because, my company doesn't install Exchange server, however, we
installed MS-SQL Server 2000?

it's possible, but you need to write a com addin to do it... or look into
one of the many sharing utilities or CRM apps - most use SQL as a back end.
