is this possible?

Hi people,
I would like to ask a specific question. Thanx for replies in advance:
I use an OCR (optical caharter reading) program to convert scanned typed
text
to be able to format the text itself. For example, I first scan a newspaper
clipping,
then scan it, and make it read by an OCR and keep in 1note.
My question is: If I scan my handwriting form a regular notebook,
would 1note able to convert it to normal text?
If you have tried, would the conversion be sucsseful enough?
How do these prcodure work? Could you pleas explain?

OneNote can only perform HW recognition on a Tablet PC. OneNote uses the
Ink datatype and API (again only available on a Tablet PC) for this.

Even if you attached a scanned picture of your handwriting, it's not in
Ink, so OneNote cannot do anything with it.

There may be some options available with the scanning software that came
with your scanner in combination with the OCR tools which come with
Office Document Imaging.
