Is vcf an add-in? where do I get it?

I want to add in my contact info in the emails I send and I thought this is
in a vcf file, which I saw someone loading as an add in. I can't find it.
the help file tells you what it is, but not how to get it.

Open up your contact record and click the Windows button on the ribbon, then
Save As and choose .vcf as the file type. Insert that file into a
signature.
