Is Word 2007 (or Word 2007 on Vista) any better at handling INK on a tablet ?

Is Word 2007 (or Word 2007 on Vista) any better at handling INK on a
tablet than Word 2003 ?
My main beef with ink in Word 2003 is that there is no way to tie ink
to Text (or TextBoxes)(or anything) in a robust fashion.

Anyone know ?
