Hello,
I was working in MS Word (ver. 10) for OSX, when I suddenly was unable
to save the project. I got an error that said something to the effect
of, "Application cannot save. There are too many files open" (please
note I'm paraphrasing here).
Just minutes after that cryptic message, Word crashed on me. When I
tried to reboot Word (and then, later, my computer), the application
wouldn't launch at all. I got a new error messaging reading:
"The application 'Microsoft Word' cannot
be launched.
-10661"
That is an exact quote, including the "-10661" number. Aside from
making an obvious guess that Word is corrupted, I have no idea what
happened. Perhaps I was working with a corrupted file to begin with
(I was using a template in word for a write-up I was doing -- if that
helps anyone diagnose the problem at all). Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks very much.
Best,

P.S. All of the other apps in the Office X (Excel, Power Point, and
so on) worked just fine.
