hi,
the error: "deleting data in a linked table is noy supported by this ISAM
(error 3617)" is showing up when i try to delete lines in a table linked to a
excel file.

any iddea how to overcome this problem??

IIRC, due to some copy-right reasons (???), recent updates from Microsoft
prevent updating Excel data from Access or Access data from Excel.

If you do regular updates from Microsoft, the new ISAMs would have been
installed on your PC.
