Iserting Projects within Projects

When I insert a project within a project I'm having problems seeing the
inserted project on the Server. All it's showing is a summary line for the
intire project. What do I need to change to be able to view the included
project when I open the main project on the Server.

Your "project within a project" is known as a master project. When you see
the master project in the Project Center page and then click the link for
the master project, the system displays a detailed Project view that shows
only the subprojects (the inserted projects), but not the details for each
subproject. There's no way around this. Sorry.

Also, under no circumstances should you publish your master project. Doing
so will likely lead to duplicate task assignments on every user's timesheet
in PWA. Hope this helps.

ha) but I'll learn to live with it. Thanks for the additional information on
the duplicate task assignments, that will come in handy.
